THE FARM
The future has its roots into our Earth.
The Family Farm Candiloro has been part of the Sicilian history. Giuseppe Candiloro,
grand-father of the current owner, planted his first olive trees in 1930. During
those decades, the choice of the family has always been to remain faithful to the Italian harvest traditions.
Now, Mr. Vincenzo, together with his family, continues the work begun by his
grand-father Giuseppe and followed by his father, Vito. Thanks to his Agricultural
Sciences Degree and many years of experience in the agricultural field, he is
able to control each phase of the process, which leads to the born of the
Extra Virgin Olive Oil Candiloro.
Mr. Candiloro produces very little Extra Virgin Olive Oil, but does it by paying
attention to each olive’s developing phase, waiting for the last week of October,
when the hand-picking starts. This latter one is realized by each member of the
family, directly from the trees, at the perfect time of their maturation.
